It’s o ingredients designed provide a boost of energy. These type of supplements are not generally regulated and mostly over the counter. It can be used to improve athletic performance and to help with recovery.
Pre-workout supplements may ingredients such as: amino acids, beta alanine, creatine, L- Citrulline, that help with muscle recovery after a a workout.
This boost can be supplied by caffeine. Many brands sell products that may contain ingredients that are not safe or have not been scientifically proven to show any results. Many supplements being advertised today may have no benefits and can even cause some unwanted harm and side effect.
