With numerous pre-workouts that cause more side effects than results, it’s difficult to find the best supplement that would fully support your athletic performance.
I know how you feel, I’ve tried dozens of pre-works, experienced painful and annoying side effects, and wasted a lot of money for nothing.
I was ready to give up, which would be a mess since my life depends on it. I would have to change my career or continue taking supplements that gave me a blue tongue and headaches day after day.
But I was stubborn enough and by accident discovered Transparent Labs. They quickly caught my eye, and I decided to give them a try for one very specific reason.
Their PreSeries Bulk supplement had something I was looking for for a long time. Their list of clean and natural ingredients had me hooked.
But is BULK really as effective as it claims?
Or is it just another headache-causing, sweet-tasting powder that’s a complete waste of money?
Read on to find out about my personal experience with this supplement and find out if this is the best pre-workout or NOT

Let’s have a look at the complete list of ingredients used in BULK Pre-work!
Beta-alanine is an amino acid that minimizes fatigue, enabling you to train longer and harder. It contains a solid dose of this component, which helps you build lean muscle mass with time.
A 2:1:1 blend of Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine helps with protein synthesis, reduce body weight (weigh loss), increase endurance and improve muscle recovery while giving you a boost of energy to push the workouts further.
This is another essential amino acid, but our bodies can’t produce it, so we have to get it from other sources. It helps to reduce cell damage, increase muscle performance, and has many health benefits for our bodies.
N-Acetyl has been shown to improve sleep, boost mental focus, memory, and concentration.
With a number of health benefits, this nutrient is produced in our bodies but in a very low amount. It improves heart health, memory, and much more.
If you’re wondering what are stims in Bulk Pre-work, this is it. Caffeine is a common ingredient in many pre-workouts because it improves alertness and focus, minimizes fatigue, and improves concentration.
Commonly included in products that boost testosterone, this component also helps to increase the circulation of the hormone Dopamine in the brain.
L-Norvaline promotes nitric oxide production in the body. That means it boosts blood flow to the muscles, providing them with oxygen and nutrients. It also helps to speed muscle recovery time that.
You can get synephrine from plants; this substance boosts metabolism and lose excess fat.
Apart from Mucuna Pruriens, there are a few other minerals that help to increase testosterone production (testosterone support complex) in the body: vitamin D3, zinc, and boron.
Transparent Labs product improves concentration, memory, sleep quality and contains essential amino acids that improves performance and endurance and promotes lean muscle mass!
Is TransparentLabs Keto Friendly?
A single serving of BULK pre-workout calories count is 16. The only ingredient in the BULK pre-work that contains carbs is the BCAAs.
Transparent Labs Bulk vs Lean (Reviews)
Bulk was designed to build muscle while Lean supports getting lean muscle mass. They both have similar benefits but essentially its formula is designed the same with certain variations.
Both Bulk and Preseries Lean contain the same components but the amounts differ:
Both contain 6,000 mg citrulline malate
Contains 4,000 mg BCAA – Lean 2,000 mg BCAA
It has 4,000 mg beta-alanine – Lean has 1,500 mg
Contains 2,500 mg Betaine – Lean 1,000 mg Betaine
Bulk has 1,300 mg Taurine
None of these two contains creatine, and they both pack these ingredients: N-acetyl L-Tyrosine, Choline Bitartrate, Mucuna Pruriens, l-Norvaline, BioPerine (black pepper extract).
Bulk Pre Workout vs Jym
These two workout supplements are pretty similar in what they help to achieve, but they do it with slight variations of dosages and ingredients. Here are their benefits:
target muscle building process with BCAAs, beta-alanine (higher amount in Bulk), and betaine (higher amount in Bulk)
boost pump, but Bulk helps to prolong it with L-Norvaline (which is more effective than the beetroot extract in JYM)
pack stimulants to make workouts even more effective. Bulk contains a better formula with cleaner ingredients that cause no crashes or jitters. JYM has a solid formula but can cause jitters in all who aren’t used to high caffeine doses (300 mg)
Other ingredients: Bulk has the cleanest formula of the two (natural flavor, stevia, calcium silicate, silicon dioxide) while JYM pre-workout contains some ingredients, strawberry lemonade, peach mango, tropical punch, green apple, sour grape, blue raspberry flavors that health-conscious users will probably choose to avoid (dextrose, natural and artificial flavors, sucralose, Acesulfame potassium, calcium silicate, FD&C red #40)
Is Transparent Labs Pre Workout Safe?
Preseries is safe for most people. It contains only clean ingredients which is a rare thing in the supplement world.
I decided to try this pre-work because it doesn’t contain any harmful, mysterious, and artificial ingredients.
I’ve successfully tested Pre series when I first got my hands on it and have recommended it to friends and clients.
I have never experienced any side effects or issues; I’m pretty sure it has one of the cleanest formulas out there, and I’ve tested a lot of pre-works in my career.
The only side effects I noticed normally happen with people who are completely new to pre-workout supplements and have never tried any. And even these were mild; an occasional headache, a few jitters, and that’s about it.
What is the Difference Between Bulk, PreSeries LEAN, and Stim Free?
All three products are very effective and make a great addition to workouts.
All 3 of these supplements boost muscle pump, improve focus, endurance, but their formulas are somewhat different from one another.
I’ve already mentioned the difference between Bulk and Lean above, so let’s have a look at how Stim-Free series compares to the other two:
Preseries Stim-free also contains 6 grams of L-citrulline per serving, combined with beta-alanine, betaine, BCAAs, and a blend of components that boost focus, energy, and mental clarity
All three contain N-acetyl L-Tyrosine, Choline Bitartrate, Mucuna Pruriens, L-Norvaline, BioPerine (black pepper extract)
Here’s what makes Preseries STIM-free different from the other two:
Has 6,000 mg BCAAs per serving in the 2:1:1 ratio
Contains 3,000 mg creatine HCL per serving
Free of any stimulants (caffeine free)
Contains ingredients that improve focus, cognition, and promote mental boost
Transparent Labs Creatine
In 2016, Transparent Labs expanded their popular male Enhancement Supplement with the added ingredient of creatine to make it fully appealing to a wider demographic. Transparent Labs claims that their creatine formulation is as much as 1,200 percent more energy than ordinary protein supplements.
There are many forms of creatine supplements available today. What makes the Transparent Labs creatine so unique is that it’s a dehydrated version of creatine monohydrate, which has been heat-treated and can be consumed as a powder, drink, or chews. The creatine content of Transparent Labs is 50 percent more than that of ordinary creatine. The effects of the creatine are relatively similar to that of ordinary creatine. The formula that’s used in the supplement is optimal. It contains small amounts of propionate, isotonic sodium, electrolytes, and caffeine.
When and How to Take It?
Take one scoop as per the company’s guidelines and mix with 6 to 8 oz of water. Take it about 20 to 30 minutes prior to exercise. When you use this product for the first time, you are encouraged to start with a half dose so that you can examine your limit to the stimulants that it contains; once you are concluded that you can tolerate the components, you can go to a full dose for enhanced power.
Make sure you never use more than 2 scoops in 24-hour time and attempt to avoid doing this product in the 2nd half of the day due to the stimulant that may affect your sleep quality.
What is the Сleanest Pre Workout?
It’s… this! But we don’t want to give away the whole recipe. What is the cleanest pre-workout? We’ll leave that to you to decide! In a drink mixer or blender (about 2:30 for the whey + 1:30 for the maple syrup) add the 1 scoop protein powder. We suggest the Hy-Vee brand; it’s reasonably priced and it seems to be very good quality. You can adjust the protein to 1 scoop for 9g or 1 scoop for 15g. Make sure you shake thoroughly. If you’re shaking on a well-air-conditioned kitchen counter, be sure to get in the refrigerator once you’ve finished to break up the protein. Pour 1/2 cup of water into a glass and mix it thoroughly.
Then add the peanut butter and the rest of the water to the glass. Now give it a good shake so that all of the protein powder dissolves. Then pour into a glass container with a lid. The cookie jar works perfectly for us. We put this in the freezer until frozen solid so that it won’t splatter. We also put the container in the freezer until the whey has frozen solid so that we can scrape the frozen peanut butter from the container into the trash. If you’re worried about freezer burn, make sure to put a piece of foil on top of the container. Unwrap your slice of cheese and separate it into the plastic baggies.
Can Pre-Workout Mess Up Your Kidneys?
So you’ve started your kids on these capsules as a supplement. It’s better for them, and it’s less expensive. Except … what if you haven’t read enough about it? Because some prescription studies have shown that “they aren’t great at preserving kidney health. In fact, myron D. Nichols, PhD, a urologist at UT Southwestern Medical Center, told Time.
If you look at the human studies on them, you’re talking about just a minimal decrease in proteinuria, which is just the protein that’s released into the urine, and is generally associated with kidney injury.” And that seems to make it tough for parents to know for sure if they’re helping their kids’ kidneys, or doing more harm than good. Even if a product says it’s certified for kidney safety, it doesn’t always mean it has gone through rigorous.
Does Bulk Pre-Workout Make You Gain Weight?
To all those people who swear by pre-workout supplements, you may be in for a shock. Many athletes claim that the mass gain has nothing to do with them, but with the supplement that they were taking. Since pre-workout supplements are generally very strong, most of them are also expensive. They not only contain steroids, but also many other stimulants and stimulant-like substances which are actually quite dangerous when taken in excess. When you take pre-workout supplements, these very same stimulants and stimulant-like substances combine with the caffeine and other nutrients that you are already consuming. The result is a massive rise in blood sugar and metabolism.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Transparent Labs Bulk Have Testosterone?
Transparent Labs Bulk, a popular supplement by Transparent Labs, does not contain testosterone. Testosterone is a naturally occurring hormone in the body and cannot be directly included in over-the-counter supplements. While there are supplements available that claim to boost testosterone levels, they typically contain ingredients that support testosterone production or enhance its utilization rather than directly providing testosterone. It is important to note that the efficacy and safety of such supplements vary, and consulting with a healthcare professional is recommended before incorporating any testosterone-boosting supplements into one’s routine, as they can have potential side effects and interact with other medications or health conditions.
Which Countries are Banned from the Shipment of Transparent Labs BULK Pre-Workout Supplements?
The company ships its products worldwide, but there are a few countries where shipment is not possible due to bans. These countries are Ukraine, Albania, Algeria, Lithuania, Macedonia, India, Romania, Russia, and Tunisia.
Does Prework Make You Lose Weight?
Pre-workout supplements alone do not directly cause weight loss. Weight loss is primarily influenced by a calorie deficit, which means consuming fewer calories than you burn through physical activity and metabolic processes. While pre-workout supplements can provide an energy boost and enhance exercise performance, they do not possess inherent fat-burning properties.
However, pre-workout supplements may indirectly support weight loss efforts. They can increase energy levels and improve focus during workouts, potentially leading to more intense and prolonged exercise sessions. This, in turn, can help burn more calories and contribute to creating a calorie deficit when combined with a balanced diet and overall active lifestyle.
It’s important to note that sustainable weight loss is best achieved through a comprehensive approach that includes a balanced and nutritious diet, regular physical activity, and healthy lifestyle habits. Pre-workout supplements can be a tool to support exercise performance, but they should not be considered a magic solution for weight loss on their own. Consulting with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian can provide personalized guidance and recommendations for achieving weight loss goals effectively and safely.
Does Testosterone Make You Bulk Up?
Yes, testosterone plays a pivotal role in the process of muscle development and can contribute to an increase in muscle mass. Testosterone is a hormone primarily produced in the testes in men and in smaller amounts in the ovaries and adrenal glands in women. It is an androgenic hormone, meaning it is responsible for the development of male secondary sexual characteristics, including increased muscle mass.
Testosterone exerts its muscle-building effects through several mechanisms. Firstly, it enhances protein synthesis, allowing the body to build and repair muscle tissue more efficiently. Secondly, it promotes the growth of myosin and actin, the contractile proteins responsible for muscle contraction. Additionally, testosterone can increase the number of satellite cells in muscle tissue, which are crucial for muscle repair and growth.
It’s important to note that while testosterone does promote muscle growth, the extent to which it leads to bulking up depends on various factors. Genetics, diet, training intensity, and duration all play significant roles in determining the magnitude of muscle gain. Furthermore, testosterone alone may not result in significant muscle growth without adequate resistance training.
Excessive or synthetic testosterone use, such as in anabolic steroid abuse, can lead to rapid and unnatural muscle growth, but it comes with severe health risks and is illegal in many sports and countries.
In summary, testosterone does facilitate muscle development and can contribute to “bulking up,” but achieving significant muscle growth also requires a comprehensive approach involving proper nutrition and resistance training. Maintaining healthy testosterone levels through natural means is essential for overall fitness and well-being.
Does Testosterone Make You Harder?
Yes, testosterone does play a crucial role in determining the hardness and rigidity of male sexual organs, particularly the penis. The physiological mechanisms behind this phenomenon are intricate and multifaceted.
During sexual arousal, the brain sends signals to the penile tissue to initiate an erection. Testosterone influences this process by enhancing the production of nitric oxide synthase, an enzyme that promotes the release of nitric oxide (NO) in the blood vessels of the penis. Nitric oxide is a potent vasodilator, meaning it relaxes and widens the blood vessels, allowing for increased blood flow to the penile tissues. This increased blood flow is essential for achieving and maintaining an erection, as it fills the erectile chambers (corpora cavernosa) within the penis, causing it to become hard and erect.
Additionally, testosterone contributes to the sensitivity of penile tissue and the production of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), a molecule that helps maintain the erection by preventing the outflow of blood from the penis.
It’s important to note that while testosterone plays a critical role in erectile function, it is not the sole determinant. Psychological factors, vascular health, and the presence of other hormones also influence a man’s ability to achieve and sustain an erection.
Low testosterone levels can lead to erectile dysfunction, where achieving and maintaining an erection becomes challenging. However, simply increasing testosterone levels may not be a panacea for all cases of erectile dysfunction, as other underlying factors may need to be addressed. Consulting a healthcare professional is advisable for individuals experiencing persistent erectile issues.
What is The Best Price & Where to Buy Preseries Bulk?
TransparentLabs pre-work supplementation is designed with selected ingredients that are not only clean but also effective and backed up by science.
Truly, I was surprised to notice such transparency from a brand; it is quite rare to find a clean product without any fillers and artificial ingredients.
You can easily buy it in most online retailers, such as GNC, Amazon, and many others.
If you’re lucky, you can also get a discount code or a coupon for your order that allows you to save money when looking for a pre-workout for sale.
While any supplement of Transparent Labs will give you a mental boost, improve your energy levels, and power, and eventually build endurance, I have to say that it’s not the best you can get.
Don’t get me wrong; the product is well designed with a solid background.
It really is okay, and it works as described. I used it for about a month, and it delivered, but I just kept missing something.
It’s effective in terms of benefits, but I kept missing that oomph that I normally get with the best supplements. I was disappointed that I wasn’t able to feel it.
Transparent Labs has many devoted users, but it hasn’t managed to awake the animal roar I normally feel with 4 Gauge Pre-work, which is an alternative to TL.
Transparent Labs Review – Final Words
I tested and reviewed both supplements on myself and later with my clients. And the majority of them decided for 4 Gauge with the same argument: it helps to elevate workouts to a different level in an unexplainable way.
Apart from that, 4 Gauge supplement is also designed with only the cleanest ingredients. It’s vegan-friendly pre-workout, and with a killer formula, I get better and even more skin-tearing pumps, roaring energy with more focus and power.
It helped me tone and build lean muscle, and it effectively boosts power while bodybuilding.
4 Gauge has become a crucial part of my stack after the results I was able to achieve. It doesn’t have the best flavor, but it also isn’t taurine free, and it gives motivation on the lazy days to keep pushing, and it’ll provide support in the early hours of the morning and late afternoon when you get off work.
